49-year-old Jesse Michael Harless was reportedly harassing people near 42nd Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue late September 6th. Officers received numerous calls stating that Harless was entering businesses, yelling, and causing a scene. Moments later, officers received another call stating Harless was walking on the nearby railroad tracks.
When the police arrived, they observed Harless walking away from the train tracks. They noticed he was visibly intoxicated, holding a beer and stumbling around. Officers told Harless to stop, but he disregarded their commands. Harless then tried leaving until officers grabbed and handcuffed him. Harless was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
Jesse Michael Harless was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 6th, charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,100.
