DUI: Cecil Nelson found passed out behind wheel, blocking interstate traffic on I-40 at 2 AM

Police say 24-year-old Cecil Nelson was passed out behind the wheel of a maroon GMC which was blocking all westbound lanes of I-40 in the early hours of Monday morning. His foot was on the brake, and the vehicle was running and in drive. Once he was awakened denied medical assistance, threw his hands up in the air, and demanded to know why he was being detained. He was visibly intoxicated and admitted to consuming a “couple of High Noon” beverages along with a Vegas Bomb. He stated he was on the way to pick up a friend when he was awakened by officers in the middle of the interstate. Nelson performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew a 0.200% BAC on a breathalyzer.

DUI: Matthew Kirby Tritt charged after being found unconscious behind wheel of vehicle

33-year-old Matthew Tritt was initially found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle in West Nashville early Sunday morning. As medical arrived and made contact with Tritt, he awakened and attempted to drive away. They were able to take the keys and prevent him from driving until the police arrived. Officers say Tritt reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. Tritt initially agreed to a breathalyzer but refused when taken to submit to the test.

Tourist Patrick Stephens jailed for disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville

36-year-old Patrick Stephens was bounced from Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning after fighting another patron. He was resisting security and refused to leave the property. Nearby officers observed the commotion and his level of intoxication and charged him with disorderly conduct and public intoxication as he continued to cause a scene once outside the bar.

Street Racer Down: Jermarion Brown charged after fleeing from MNPD — $84K bond

20-year-old Jermarion Brown faces a cornucopia of charges as he remains jailed in lieu of an $84,000 bond Monday. He was found hiding in the shower of a hotel bathroom Saturday morning, a room also occupied by two of his male friends. Police say they had noticed Brown driving a blue Dodge Charger 392 throughout the evening recklessly driving on Murfreesboro Pike. Hours later, they again located the car as it was in line to turn into a nightclub on the same road. As officers approached the car, which had no tag displayed, Brown placed the charger in reverse. Officers screamed “Don’t do it!” but that didn’t stop Brown from fleeing backward, going the wrong way on Murfreesboro Pike., nearly ramming a patrol car. He then drove through a grassy ditch as he lost control but eventually fled along Kermit Drive.

Officers did not pursue him but instead waited for him at a nearby hotel where the car had been seen earlier. Officers found the car, covered in fresh grass, parked at the hotel, and security directed them to the room, already knowing who they were searching for. Two friends answered the door and stated they were the only ones in the room. After a bit of back-and-forth, they finally admitted Brown was hiding in the shower. Brown said he ran because he “was scared,” but later said, “That was my car, but I wasn’t driving,” when they explained they had documented his reckless driving at five different scenes, including Airport Center Drive, where illegal car side shows were being held, along with street/intersection takeovers.

Bradley Smith arrested after using fake ID at Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville

20-year-old Bradley Smith was using a fake ID early Saturday morning in an attempt to enter Kid Rock’s Bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Security observed the fake ID and notified police about Smith, who was already heavily intoxicated. Officers arrived and took Smith into custody, and transported him to booking.

Real Estate Investor Parker McCracken charged in DUI crash

30-year-old Nashville Real Estate Investor Parker McCracken ran his Lexus SUV off the roadway on E. Ashland Drive in the early hours of Saturday morning. He claimed he lost control due to the wet conditions and denied drinking any alcohol. Officers say McCracken reeked of alcohol and had slurred speech and glossy bloodshot eyes. McCracken refused all testing and was taken into custody, charged with driving under the influence. 

Nashville Onlyfans star Zane Morgan arrested at Jason Aldean’s bar

Police say 24-year-old OnlyFans entrepreneur Zane Morgan got into a physical altercation with a patron at Jason Aldean’s bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville Friday evening. Security footage shows Zane Morgan punching a victim in the face. When police attempted to question Morgan, he walked away and would not follow instructions. 

Nick Willhoite charged with daytime DUI in downtown Nashville after crash

Officers responded to a vehicle with front-end damage and a flat tire parked on 2nd Ave in the middle of downtown just after 3 p.m. Friday. Behind the wheel was 24-year-old Nicholas Willhoite, who told police he had just gone inside to use the restroom and when he came out, someone had crashed into his vehicle. Willhoite reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. A security guard observed that Willhoite parked the vehicle and got in and out several times before the police arrived, but the damage was already done to the vehicle when it parked it in the roadway. Willhoite eventually admitted to drinking a vodka/Redbull an hour prior to driving. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.155% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Mark Knechel calls 911 from back of patrol car “I’m being kidnapped by crooked cops!”

40-year-old tourist Mark Knechel was found in an extreme state of intoxication near KVB & 1st Ave South in downtown Nashville early Wednesday morning, acting erratically in the middle of the road. He reeked of alcohol, and when officers made contact, he knelt on the ground and began to yell, “These are dirty cops!” Knechel’s fiancée said they were staying at a nearby Holiday Inn. As officers were preparing to give them both a ride to their hotel, Knechel became even more agitated, upset an officer was speaking to his fiancée. Due to his continued disruptive behavior, he was placed into custody. When in the back of the patrol car and en route to booking, Knechel called 911 from his Apple watch and told the dispatcher he was “being kidnapped by crooked cops.”

Robert Moore punches man who was recording her outside Bridgestone Arena

Police say 40-year-old Robert Moore punched Bronson Alford, from Cookeville, in front of Bridgestone Arena on March 20. The victim says he was recording Moore on his cell phone when she punched him in the face. Moore was issued a citation for assault and was booked on it this week.
