DUI: Isaac Longinos drinks several Modelo beers before nearly rear-ending vehicle

24-year-old Isaac Angel Longinos traveled 20 mph in a 45-mph zone on Murfreesboro Pike near Ransom Place on February 6th. Officers observed this as he swerved and overcorrected before nearly rear-ending another vehicle while approaching a red light. They conducted a traffic stop and noticed he was visibly intoxicated when they approached the driver’s side. There were several open cans of Modelo beer on the floorboard. Longinos exited the vehicle as they requested and consented to sobriety tests. Longinos could not complete the sobriety tests due to his level of intoxication. Officers detained him and performed a records check, which showed that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Further investigation led to them discovering Longinos had a fake temporary tag affixed to the rear of his vehicle that was later turned in as evidence. They transported him to booking, where he urinated on himself while sleeping. Longinos was taken into custody for driving under the influence, not having a driver’s license, and having a fraudulent title.

Jonathan Keene arrested for attacking police officer at Centennial Hospital in 2021

46-year-old Jonathan Scott Keene randomly attacked Metro Nashville Police Officer Nathaniel Jones while he worked with a patient at Centennial Hospital in June 2021. Jones was sitting in a chair when Keene jumped onto him, knocked him out of the chair, and squeezed him with his arms. The reason for the incident is unknown as there was no prior contact, business, or communication between the men beforehand. Multiple individuals, hospital staff, and another officer were needed to stop Keene. Keene was taken into custody for the assault of an officer on February 6th, 2024.

Mariyah Reid vandalizes ex-boyfriend’s Xbox during altercation

21-year-old Mariyah Reid had an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Shantonio Je’quan Hurt, at his apartment on Bell Road on February 6th. Hurt spoke to officers, advising them that Reid became angry and poured water on his Xbox game console and TV before she left. Reid agreed to return and speak with the officers. Reid admitted to pouring the water on Hurt’s Xbox and TV. Reid was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for vandalism.

DUI: Brent Kitchens drinks beer before crashing into brick wall

22-year-old Brent Kitchens sped northbound on Nolensville Pike before swerving and colliding with a brick wall on the morning of February 7th. Officers witnessed this, and when they approached him, he stated he “messed up” and admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages at his friend’s house before driving. He was visibly intoxicated as he consented to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and provided a blood sample after being informed of implied consent. Officers located an open bottle of beer in his center console, and then he was taken into custody for driving under the influence and an open container violation.

Ashlyn Engelbert sends over 500 texts to ex-boyfriend in one day, tells him “I’ll smash your car windows!”

31-year-old Ashlyn Engelbert was caught harassing her ex-boyfriend, Jason Demarcus, at Blackwood Drive on February 4th. Demarcus provided law enforcement with texts he had received in the prior 24 hours. He had received over 500 text messages. The messages ranged from pictures of Engelbert to multiple references about sleeping with Demarcus. The messages also included threats such as “I’ll smash your car windows!” Ashlyn Engelbert was taken into custody and charged with harassment.

Shaitrustin Gaines booked after assaulting ex-partner, driving with no license

28-year-old Shaitrustin Gaines was booked on an outstanding warrant and citation. The first incident was from August 25th, 2023, when Gaines showed up at Inman Braidin’s apartment early in the morning. Gaines got on top of them and strangled them out of their sleep. Gaines put his weight on Inman’s chest and didn’t move despite Inman yelling for him to get off. After about 30 minutes, Gaines rolled off Inman, and they began to argue. During the argument, Gaines grabbed Inman by the neck and pushed them against the cupboard in the kitchen. When Gaines let go, he immediately slapped Inman across the face, causing them to “blackout.”

The second incident was from November 21st, 2023, when an officer observed a black Hyundai Santa Fe run a red light on Vietnam Veterans Parkway. When the officer pulled Gaines over, it was discovered that Gaines did not have a driver’s license and was issued a citation. Gaines was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail for both incidents on February 4th 2024.

Regina Harville jailed after nurse finds 12 grams of meth in her private region at Skyline Hospital

53-year-old Regina Harville was caught with crystal meth at Skyline Hospital on February 4th. Skyline Security was alerted that a nurse found a large amount of Crystal Meth on one of her patients. Harville was receiving care for injuries sustained in a vehicle accident out of county. While caring for Harville, the nurse noticed a clear plastic bag sticking out of Harville’s private area. The nurse then pulled the bag out of Harville’s private region and found what looked to be a large amount of Crystal Meth inside. When officers were handed the drugs, they weighed the bag and found that Harville’s bag contained 12 grams of Crystal Meth. Regina Harville was taken into custody and charged with possession or casual exchange.

Adrian Armstrong stabs man multiple times, locks him in vehicle during argument

35-year-old Adrian Armstong had an altercation with his friend, Justin Screws, inside his car on Patio Drive in the early hours of February 4th. Armstrong opened his door as officers arrived and nodded at them, saying, “Over there,” before pulling into and parking in a nearby driveway. The resident at the location told officers they had never seen Screws or Armstrong before the incident. Officers approached Armstrong’s vehicle and heard Screws yelling for help from inside the car. Armstrong claimed that Screws had tried to rob him at knifepoint. They detained Armstrong, noticed Screws covered in blood, and then assisted him in exiting the vehicle.

Screws advised them that he and Joseph Mungenast called Armstrong for a ride since they were supposed to work together. When Armstrong picked him and Mungenast up, an argument sparked between Screws and Armstrong regarding the title of his vehicle. Armstrong accused Screws or Mungenast of taking his vehicle title during the argument. Then, Screws explained that Armstrong became angry and struck him in the face. Screws also noted that Armstrong had a knife, but he did not initially believe Armstrong had stabbed him. Screws said that he was screaming for help when officers arrived, but he could not be heard because he was locked inside Armstrong’s vehicle that has tinted windows. Mr. Mungenast stated that Screws and Armstrong argued, then Armstrong stabbed Screws and punched him repeatedly in the face.

Armstrong told officers that he had given the men a ride, and they had left a bag in the car, so he asked them to get it. Then, he claimed Screws pulled a long-fixed blade that resembled a gun and threatened him with it. So Armstrong locked the door, hindering Screws from exiting the car. Armstrong then began fighting Screws for the knife before he struck him in the face and took it from him. Armstrong stated he remained on the scene to talk to the police. Officers observed the injuries from both parties and spoke to witnesses, who had only seen the car rocking but did not hear any commotion. Officers located a green “Karambit” knife in the center console of Armstrong’s car and deemed him the primary aggressor. Armstrong was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, driving with a suspended license, and aggravated kidnapping.

Jermoun Muhammad assaults roommate for bumping into him

44-year-old Jermoun Muhammad was jailed on February 4th for assaulting his roommate on Glengarry Drive. Deonte Miles stated that all the residents of the home were having a meeting. When Miles and Muhammed exited the room at the same time, causing them to bump into each other. Muhammed then pushed Miles and got in his face, cursing and threatening to beat him while spitting on him. Phyllis and Jerrold Yaney, witnesses at the home, stated that Miles was the one who started the altercation by pushing Muhammed first and provided police with video footage of the incident. The footage revealed that once Miles and Muhammed exited the room, Muhammed began violently pushing, cursing, and threatening Miles. He was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody.

Felipe Perez consumes alcohol underage during drunk driving accident

18-year-old Felipe Perez rode with three others, two being Isabela and Juana Alonzo, as they had a single-vehicle accident near Bell Road and Ned Shelton Road on the morning of February 3rd. Isabela and another passenger were outside the car as officers stopped by to check on their wellbeing. Occupants were trying to climb out of the vehicle when officers approached Isabela and noticed she was visibly intoxicated. Two passengers named her as the driver during the collision. Isabela could not perform sobriety tests due to injuries, and she was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital by paramedics. Officers observed several cases of Modelo beer cans and one Heineken beer bottle throughout the vehicle. A collision investigation showed they were traveling northbound on Bell Road and drove off the road into a rock wall during a right curve. The other passengers had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Vanderbilt Hospital. During their investigation, they discovered that Perez was underage and had consumed alcohol. Perez was taken into custody for consumption of alcohol under 21 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
