Dustin Earls inappropriately grabs first responder after being found lying in alleyway

31-year-old Dustin Earls inappropriately grabbed Logan Steinbarge, a first responder, in the early hours of March 16th. Steinbarge alerted the authorities, and advised them that she was dispatched to the women’s mission due to a man lying on the ground in the alleyway. Then, Steinbarge stated that they loaded the man, identified as Dustin Earls, in the back of the ambulance once they located him. Earls was uncooperative, refusing to give first responders any of his information. After this, Earls grabbed the inside of Steinbarge’s thigh, which EMS personnel confronted him about. Earls then became irate and began attempting to punch them. Earls admitted to first responders that he had been drinking and showed signs of impairment. Earls was deemed unable to care for himself and then was taken into custody for assaulting a first responder and public intoxication.  

#MomTok influencer Gabbie Egan jailed in Nashville after assaulting police and bar staff on Broadway

24-year-old Gabrielle Egan, who has millions of followers on Tiktok mainly related to ‘#MomTok,’ as a mom influencer, was arrested in Nashville Saturday night. Police say she was at Rippy’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville when she bumped into a waitress who was bringing food to a table. Egan reportedly told the server, “You need to watch out!” and struck her on the right side of her head using her left hand. Security detained her, and Metro Nashville Police Officers arrived at the venue. During the subsequent investigation, multiple witnesses stated they observed Egan push a second waitress and threaten other customers. As she was being arrested for disorderly conduct, the TikToker lunged forward and headbutted an officer, striking him in the head and causing visible injuries. She then used her right foot to strike the same officer’s thigh. She was eventually restrained and transported to booking to be processed for the additional charge of assault of a police officer.

Kyle Morris jailed after fleeing police, punching medic in face on Broadway

32-year-old Kyle Morris had a scuffle at the 4th Avenue South and Broadway intersection in the early hours of February 29th. NFD medics flagged officers down regarding the fight, and when they arrived, they noticed Morris lying on the ground. Morris was visibly intoxicated and was belligerent to medics as he refused medical attention. Medics were removing Morris from the gurney to detain him when he started running away from them. When Medics tried to gain control of Morris, he started swinging, and then he punched Patrick Nolan, a medic, in the face, breaking his $600 prescription glasses. Morris continued to flee, disregarding officers’ commands to stop, and was caught following a brief foot pursuit. Morris was taken into custody for the assault of a first responder, vandalism, public intoxication, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.

Inmate Franklin Caceres-Ortega spits on DCSO Corporal multiple times

20-year-old Franklin Caceres-Ortega, an inmate in Davidson County Sheriff’s Office’s custody, had an altercation with Bryson Hayes, a DCSO Corporal, on December 1st. DCSO investigators provided detectives with surveillance of the incident, which showed Caceres-Ortega spit on Corporal Hayes on two separate occasions. During an interview, he admitted to spitting on him both times, and then he was charged with the assault of a first responder on January 26th.

Tamya Hill refuses to be removed from patrol car, spits in police officer’s face

25-year-old Tamya Hill was involved in an altercation with the first responding officers at West Hamilton Avenue on December 16th. Officers received a call that a woman was waving around a knife inside of a halfway house. Upon arriving, officers spoke with the residents of the halfway house, and they said that Hill had failed a drug test, so they told her that she had to leave. That infuriated Hill, so she grabbed a knife and began waving it around like she was going to use it. The residents of the halfway house produced a video of Hill yelling and waving the knife around. The officers made contact with Hill and detained her. They began to pat her down for any weapon, but she started kicking and screaming. Suddenly, Hill sat down and refused to stand up when instructed to. Officers attempted to lift her off the ground, but she began to pull away from them and resist with force. While placing Hill into the patrol car, she continued to resist and intentionally kicked Officer Nicholas Sloan in the leg. Hill later spit in the back of the patrol car, vandalizing it. In the secure garage at booking, Hill refused to leave the patrol car and violently resisted officers’ attempts to remove her from the vehicle. Hill grabbed onto a seatbelt and trapped her feet underneath the seat to prevent officers from removing her from the car. Hill then spit in the face of Officer Timothy Mclaughlin when he was trying to pull her feet from the seat.

Matthew Charboneau charged after breaking MNPD Officer’s ankle in downtown fight

Metro Nashville Police responded to Rippy’s on Broadway in downtown Nashville on Saturday in response to 41-year-old Matthew Charboneau yelling and causing a scene with patrons on the sidewalk. Officer Kevin Clausius attempted to de-escalate the situation, however, Charboneau came at him aggressively and the two fought. Police say that during the fight, Charboneau broke the officer’s left ankle. Once he was cuffed, Charboneau then attempted to headbutt Officer Erickson. The officer was transported to Vanderbilt for his broken ankle.
