23-year-old Ashley Lopez is charged with domestic vandalism after she went berserk and threw a toaster and pans on the ground, knocked over a TV, and snapped the handle off a cast-iron skillet passed down to her boyfriend from his grandmother, valued at over $300. Johnathan Sutton says the skillet was a prized possession, and Ashley became upset when she felt he didn’t stand up for her in front of his family. There is currently no update on plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas invitations this year.

Bar patrons clap & celebrate as police remove Jeff Serra from Margaritaville Hotel in downtown Nashville

Staff at the Margaritaville Hotel in downtown Nashville say 43-year-old Jeffrey Serra was extremely intoxicated and causing a disturbance, so he was asked to leave. He closed out his tab but refused to leave the property, stating he had an issue with the amount he had just paid. Metro Nashville Police arrived to find him extremely intoxicated and still arguing about the tab. He was asked to step outside and discuss the matter with them, but he refused and became more belligerent and escalated to screams and shouts, disrupting other patrons. As police exported him from the property, the entire bar clapped during his departure. A search incident to arrest revealed a rolled marijuana blunt in a cigarette pack and 5 Oxycodone pills that were not in a bottle that was prescribed to him.

Bryce King falls out of a moving vehicle in downtown Nashville while drunk

Early Tuesday morning, Metro Nashville Police responded to a report that someone was thrown from a vehicle in downtown Nashville. Officers arrived at Rep John Lewis Way (5th Ave) to find 21-year-old Bryce King “lying in the street, covered in vomit, screaming, and crying,” according to Officer Blake Lutz. Despite his insistence that he was thrown from the car, the drunken man’s claims were discredited by multiple witnesses who confirmed he was hanging out of the vehicle while acting a fool and simply fell out and onto the roadway.

Wilson Buse too drunk for the Gulch in Nashville

Metro Nashville Police responded to a disorderly person call in the Gulch on Sunday and arrived to observe 29-year-old William Buse taking a fighting stance toward security on the sidewalk near 411 11th Ave. Officers say Buse reeked of alcohol and was extremely intoxicated, and very much unable to care for himself. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Kristen Gaines charged in assault of girlfriend in downtown Nashville

Metro Nashville Police say 34-year-old tourist Kristen Gaines locked herself inside a bathroom of a downtown residence Sunday while threatening to kill herself. She eventually exited the bathroom, and when her girlfriend, Heather Hobby, asked her what was wrong, she reportedly lunged at her, grabbed her, and tossed her over the couch, at which point she began to hit and scratch the victim. Police documented a partial recording of the incident, along with injuries and a torn shirt on the victim.

Benjamin Alexander Eargle was so intoxicated he didn’t think he had been born yet

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative late Saturday night found 25-year-old Benjamin Alexander Eargle, who recently moved to Nashville, heavily intoxicated and napping underneath a vehicle in a parking lot. As officers and first responders attempted to assist Eargle, he explained he was in South Carolina, and the year was 1992. Eargle was born in 1996.

Nicole Moore charged with public intoxication after unable locate friend, knocking on random doors

Late Tuesday night, downtown officers were called to Middleton Street on a complaint of 29-year-old Nicole Moore pulling on door handles and knocking on the doors of random apartments and condos in the area. Police noted her to be extremely intoxicated, unsteady when standing, smelling of alcohol, and with slurred speech. She does not live in the area but stated she was visiting a friend who she was unable to locate.

James Harrison deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville — peeing in public

30-year-old James Harrison was deemed to be extremely intoxicated when he whipped it out in the middle of a downtown Nashville parking lot and began to pee in public in front of officers and others. As police made contact he was unsteady on his feet and showed an inability to care for himself. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Austin Fowler charged with public intoxication while walking to a downtown bar

27-year-old Austin Fowler was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday night after police found him heavily intoxicated and walking on the right shoulder of I-24W just before the 2nd Ave S. exit. He was reportedly stumbling and smelled strongly of alcohol. He told police he was simply trying to walk to a bar. Fowler was jailed for public intoxication.

Drunk man found in apartment complex trying to rent a room

19-year-old Brody Caviness was charged with public intoxication and consumption of alcohol while under 21 after he was found in an apartment complex attempting “to rent a room at the hotel.”
