Austin Parker Suedekum charged with DUI & drug possession in Nashville

25-year-old Austin Parker Suedekum drove into a sobriety checkpoint after buying marijuana and drinking alcohol. He failed field sobriety tests and though he initially agreed to a blood draw, once his father arrived at the scene he revoked that consent. A night court judge signed a warrant for the blood draw. He is charged with DUI & drug possession.

30-year-old ‘Son of the South’ Joshua Carney, a paraplegic man turned motivational speaker who appeared on shows such as Swamp People & Southern Boyz, was arrested in Nashville over the weekend after admittedly drinking and using marijuana prior to driving and getting into an accident while attempting to park between a tour bus and a dumpster in downtown Nashville.

Tabitha Kirk says she snorted heroin prior to crash on Lebanon Pike

First responders found 39-year-old Tabitha Kirk “not awake and shaking” after she crashed her vehicle on Lebanon Pike. Nashville Fire medics administered two doses of Narcan, at which time Kirk responded and became coherent. She told medical she had snorted heroin prior to the crash. When police arrived, she stated she was afraid of going to jail and wasn’t sure why she crashed or how it happened. She later stated she was seven months sober and didn’t know why she relapsed. She was charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license.

DUI: Mom charged after being high on drugs in school pick-up line — Lindsey Pugh arrested

Metro Nashville Police found 31-year-old Lindsey Pugh high on Suboxone, and even had a fresh one in her mouth, Thursday afternoon as she was picking up her children from Mt. View Elementary School when she bumped into another vehicle in the pick-up line. She admitted to being on the drug, and that she was also on it earlier that morning when dropping one of her sons off at the school. She is free on a $2,500 bond, charged with her second DUI.

Police say 21-year-old Jacob Taylor Brown was “on the nod” when they found him at a stop sign in North Nashville, where he was observed in his vehicle leaning over, slowing coming back up, looking around, and going back down again. He would not elaborate on what drug he was using, only that he had made a “stupid mistake”.

21-year-old Jacob Goin was charged with DUI Friday after police say drove off the shoulder of I-65 South only to hit a guardrail and cross back across the interstate to then hit the center wall before coming to rest in the left lanes of traffic. He told police had drunk “on and off” and blew a 0.242 BAC on the breathalyzer test.

Nashville Police save 2 women from intoxicated ‘fake’ Uber driver mid-trip

Metro Nashville Police saved two women from a potentially dangerous situation last week, as they were in a vehicle they believed to be their Uber. The stranger driving them, Milian Tesfay, had picked them up on West End and had driven them out of the way of their destination, and was no Uber driver at all.
