Amarian Oglesby pepper sprays ex-boyfriend who “whooped his ass”

20-year-old Amarian Oglesby was booked on an outstanding warrant from August 1st, when he assaulted his ex-boyfriend, Anton Burns, on Claiborne Street after he told him he didn’t want to be with him anymore. Burns told police that Oglesby became angry and began to grab onto his shirt and put his hands on him. Anton explained that he fought back and “whooped his ass,” which led Oglesby to spray him in the face with pepper spray. Anton’s eyes were swollen, red, and sensitive to light. There were also traces of spray inside the home, enough to cause the officers to keep coughing.

24-year-old Rodneisha Pegram was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday on an outstanding warrant from April of 2020, charging her with assault. The warrant alleges she struck Brittany McKissack in the face and bit her on the right cheek, leaving her with a cut, a large swollen knot, bruising, and swelling. Mckissack posted a video of the assault on social media (included in the story).

Man charged after evading police and trying to hide in dumpster

35-year-old Markel Lillard was charged with theft, evading arrest, and driving without a license after police had to call in a chopper to help locate a stolen vehicle.

Felon attempts to ditch handgun during police pursuit

21-year-old Malik Watson was charged with evading arrest and felon in possession of a handgun after he was observed disposing of a firearm while being chased by police because he matched the description of a vehicle theft suspect.
