Jessica Reeves says she was at the WoodSpring Suites near Rivergate hotel with 31-year-old Michael L Hodges Wednesday morning when he used a dog leash to whip her several times on her left buttock and slapped her in the face during an argument. Throughout the day and evening, she states he had been drinking alcohol and became more aggressive with her, and eventually pushed her onto the bed and attempted to strangle her. She attempted to flee, and he pushed her as she made her way to the lobby. The hotel room was tossed with furniture flipped over.
Hodges then reportedly went to Hendersonville, where he made threats to shoot people, and then found his way back down Gallatin Pike to the Walmart parking lot in Madison where police found him wearing all black clothing in a black pickup truck. He admitted he was in an argument with his girlfriend, Jessica, and was taken into custody.
NEW DETAILS: 25-year-old Adarius Frazier, 31-year-old Ralphael Turner, and an unknown third person, held a resident at gunpoint as he arrived home from the 3000 Bar in downtown Nashville and demanded access to the apartment. Once inside, all three residents, Anthony Holmes, Capria Holmes, and Francesca Clark, were zip-tied and placed on the floor of a bedroom closet. The invaders also knocked out the front teeth of Mr. Holmes. As officers were putting on heavy armor outside, the suspects fled in a resident’s vehicle… police eventually caught 2 of them on Lischey Ave. as they dumped an AR Rifle, a Keltec pistol, and iPhones along the way.
Frazier is held on a $387,000 bond, and Turner is held on a $270,000 bond.
41-year-old Renada Shoemake is jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond after she showed up at her daughter’s home heavily intoxicated making allegations of child abuse against someone that confirmed to have not even been in the area for over two months. She attempted to beat down the daughter’s door, pushed in an air conditioning unit, and broke a window. Eventually, the daughter resorted to punching her mother, Renada Shoemake, in the face multiple times until she stopped.
