The Dog Spot is ordered to pay $5,924.00 in a lawsuit over the death of a dog in it’s care. In testimony, Chad Baker admitted it was never the practice to separate dogs by size in play areas, despite the claim on their website – which he says he copied and pasted from other websites, without reading the details.

WSMV reported on a death that occurred at The Dog Spot, in East Nashville, and they were provided a statement by The Dog Spot, that said, in part: “The Waldrop’s alluded in their demand letter that if we didn’t pay them approximately $7,000 that they would go to the media. Though we understand their heartbreak and we are heartbroken ourselves, we declined to pay them off.“.
