Tony Willis causes property damage on 8th Avenue South during work-related accident

41-year-old Tony Willis was booked after causing property damage on 8th Avenue South on December 13th. Willis left the scene after initially stopping. Willis only returned when the other involved party messaged his company, prompting them to text him to return to the scene. Willis returned about thirty minutes after the accident had occurred. Officers spoke with Willis, who advised that he wasn’t familiar with the area. Willis was given a citation for the incident. Tony Willis was booked on the citation on January 8th.

18-year-old Blake Palmer speeds down I-40 in Ford Flex

18-year-old Blake Palmer, a TSU student, was going 88 mph in a 55-mph-zone on I-40 W on November 10th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and smelled a strong odor of marijuana and cologne as they spoke with Palmer. When they asked him, Palmer told officers there was “about of gram of marijuana” in a black container under his seat. Officers initiated a probable cause search and located the black container, a small amount of marijuana in a plastic bag, a metal tray with marijuana residue and a rolled blunt, a grinder, and a bong that broke when it was placed on the seat. Palmer was booked on the citation of simple possession on December 4th.

Photographer Heather Waterman chases after car that rear-ends her through neighborhoods

39-year-old Heather Waterman, owner of Momma Bear Nashville Photography, was the victim of a hit-and-run at Nolensville Pike on November 4th. A car fled the scene after it rear-ended Waterman’s 2012 Toyota Camry, so she followed it, engaging in a chase throughout neighborhoods with children and cul-de-sacs. The car ended up colliding with another vehicle, resulting in injuries to three people who were transported via ambulance. Waterman was booked on a citation for reckless endangerment on November 27th.

Abram Kiroles booked for going 94 in a 55mph zone in his Toyota Camry

19-year-old Abram Nagy Kiroles, an employee of Subway, was taken into custody on November 13th for going 94 mph in a 55-mph zone on I-440 East in his Toyota Camry on the afternoon of October 27th. Officers observed Kiroles and conducted a traffic stop. Kiroles admitted knowing he was speeding and was then cited for reckless driving.

Nashville scammer Paul Aniel arrested for 136th time, per police

Metro Nashville Police say 56-year-old Paul Aniel was arrested for the 136th time Wednesday, using his time-tested scam of soliciting passers-by on the roadway as he pretends to be broken down or out of gas. Multiple citizens called in to report he was attempting to flag them down on the on-ramp from 440 West to Hillsboro Pike. He was attempting to wave down a vehicle when officers arrived on the scene. He was taken into custody and charged with soliciting from a roadway. 

Majid Alkanani charged in the assault and abuse of two children
