She agreed to give him a ride to his sister’s home in South Nashville, and while they were en route, he reportedly threatened to hit her in the head with the bottle of liquor which he brought with him. She says she was placed in fear of bodily injury, and police responded to the scene. Douglas was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with domestic assault – fear of bodily injury, and is free on a $3,500 bond.

Mother charged with broom assault, upset daughter gave money to ‘some man she was seeing’ — Cordelia Faye Williams

67-year-old Cordelia Faye Williams is charged with the domestic assault of her daughter, Amanda Lou Fowler, after reportedly assaulting her daughter with a boom. Court records allege Willaims was upset that her daughter was giving away her money to “some man she has been seeing” and assaulted her with a broom while she was sweeping the hallway. Police documented injuries on the victim’s left hand and transported Williams to the Metro Nashville Jail, where she was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. She remains jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond as of Christmas morning.

Man slaps mother, threatens to “sharpen a spoon and cut her heart out” — Eric Randell

33-year-old Eric Randell, who lives with his mother, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Thursday after telling her he would “sharpen a spoon and cut out her heart.” The argument reportedly began when she confronted her adult son over what she described as his “drinking problem.” She asked him to leave her home after the incident, at which time she says he slapped her in the face, causing an injury to her lip. Police took Randell into custody, charging him with domestic assault. Randell remains jailed in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Man pulls gun on half-brother’s cousin after funeral gathering — Quinton Gaines

22-year-old Quinton Gaines was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on an outstanding warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Court records show that in September he approached Randall Roach after a family member’s funeral, upset that Roach had spoken to his 17-year-old half-brother about “life decisions” at a gathering after the burial. He allegedly went to Roach’s home, asked him to come outside, then threatened to kill him while holding a gun. Gaines was later identified from a lineup and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is free on a $10,000 bond.

Man threatens to “blow up the whole apartments” after girlfriend breaks up with him — Billy Dean Woodard

30-year-old Billy Dean Woodard is charged with harassment after sending his ex-girlfriend threats, including one that stated he would “blow up the whole apartments because if I can’t have you nobody will”, and another saying he would continue to terrorize until he couldn’t terrorize her anymore, as long as she refused to be with him. Woodard is free on a $2,500 bond. Woodard recently had the same ex-girlfriend’s family charged with assault after he says they attacked him as he exited a bathroom at the residence.

Police say daughter attempted to run over her mother using her vehicle with child inside — De Yana Johnson

21-year-old De Yana Johnson is free on a $15,000 bond after police say she intentionally drove her vehicle into her mother’s vehicle while attempting to hit her mother, and her juvenile child was inside the car, unrestrained. The domestic disturbance reportedly started over her moving out of the residence and escalated when De Yana grabbed a crowbar from her vehicle and threatened her mother, Pasonica Tillman, with it before getting into her vehicle and attempting to run over her mother. Johnson faces felony vandalism, child endangerment, and aggravated assault with deadly weapon charges.

Trio charged in alleged attack of family member’s boyfriend – Mother, husband, & son arrested

43-year-old Lameka ‘KeKe’ Dickerson, her 56-year-old husband Dre Phillips, and her 20-year-old son Syxx Dickerson, were all booked into the Metro Nashville jail Saturday on outstanding warrants charging them with domestic assault. Court records show 30-year-old Billy Dean Woodard Jr, who is dating Keke’s daughter, met police at a Thorntons store on Lebanon Pike to report he and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument on November 19th and when he was coming out of the bathroom of the home (where he says they all live), the three family members “jumped him”. He fled in his girlfriend’s vehicle and called police, who met him at Thorntons and then escorted him to the family safety center to obtain warrants and other services. Officers documented physical injury sustained by the victim, however, he refused all medical care.

Man charged in rape of stepdaughter at Nashville park — James Denson jailed on $150K bond

41-year-old James Denson is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond after being booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Tuesday, charged with the rape of a child. Officers responded to a middle school in Nashville after a 12-year-old disclosed to an investigator with the Department of Children’s Services she had been raped by her step-father at a local park after driving her there on his motorcycle, just days before his birthday earlier this month. Denson, who associates himself with several local ‘motorcycle/street bike clubs’ on his social media accounts, admitted to detectives that he drove her to a local Park, but requested a lawyer before answering any further questions. He remains jailed in restricted housing at DCSO.

Son too drunk to care for himself after father ‘fell on ground’ and taken to hospital — Ethan Burton

23-year-old Ethan Burton was found on Woodland Street in East Nashville Sunday afternoon as medics were tending to his father’s bleeding face wound from “falling on the ground”. They were outside his father’s vehicle on the sidewalk, and police determined Burton was “very intoxicated”. Medics transported his father to this hospital for his injures. Ethan told officers he had no keys to his father’s residence and did not know anyone in the area to call to come to get him. Due to his level of intoxication, he was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Woman booked on 3-year-old warrant for throwing pink lawn chair at mother’s Malibu— Brianna David

22-year-old Brianna David was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on a warrant signed in May of 2018, charging her with vandalism. Court records allege she threw a pink lawn chair at her mother’s Chevy Malibu during an argument over a cracked phone screen. She was jailed for over 24 hours before eventually posting a $1,000 bond.
