Michael Rositano charged in $30K theft of instruments from music studio

39-year-old Michael Rositano was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant from 2020, which details the theft of over $30,000 of music equipment from the studio of Jonah Fecteau. Police say the two had lived together for just over a year at the time of the theft. Detectives located some of the items at local pawn shops and Rositano used his own photo ID for those transactions. Over time, Rositano contacted the victim multiple times offering to “make it right”, and asking if he could just repay the money or be sued civically instead of prosecuted criminally, thereby confessing to the thefts.

Prison Guard Antwion Pender charged with having sex with an inmate at Tennessee prison

32-year-old Antwion Pender has been extradited from Georgia to Nashville so he can face a felony Grand Jury indictment charging him with having sex with an inmate at the Tennessee Prison for Women, where he worked in 2019. He is free on a $3,500 bond.

Florida man charged with burglary of hot sauce from Nashville taco restaurant— Bryan Noll

Nashville Police say 25-year-old Bryan Noll, from Florida, kicked in the door of Baja Sexto Taco in downtown Nashville, made entry into the closed business just after midnight, and stole a small bottle of hot sauce. He was located nearby when police arrived and taken into custody. The hot sauce was turned into the evidence room. Boll is charged with felony burglary and is free on pre-trial release.

Florida woman charged in attack of sister-in-law after leaving Whiskey Row — Jamie Nations

34-year-old Jamie Nations is charged with the domestic assault and bodily injury of her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Diane Thenthirath, after leaving Whiskey Row in downtown Nashville. As the two were walking back to their vehicle, an argument began because of a 3rd party who was walking with them from the bar. It turned physical when Jamie attacked Elizabeth, leaving her with scratch marks and blood on her face and ear when officers arrived.

Florida tourist charged in assault at downtown Nashville bar — Robert Hurwitz

20-year-old Robert Mitchell Hurwitz is charged with strangling Jacob Cox at Jason Aldean’s bar in downtown Nashville Sunday. Police ordered him to stop, but he continued the assault as they approached. Police to Hurwitz, who is visiting from Florida, into custody and transported him to booking.

29-year-old tourist Jacob Bennett, from Florida, was booked into the Metro Nashville jail just before midnight Thursday after causing a scene at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative (EDI) observed him in a verbal altercation with security staff as he attempted to enter an exit door of the venue. He was asked to leave the property and refused and was eventually taken into custody for public intoxication. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest after he pulled his hands and arms away from being cuffed, and it took multiplied MNPD officers to subdue him into custody. Bennett is free on pre-trial release.

Eventually, police had to be called as both parties were reportedly belligerent, yelling, and excessively drunk. The pair were charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

Former MNPD Cop, now Florida Man, charged after smashing adult daughter’s phone, twice — Ryan Sledge

49-year-old Ryan Sledge, a former MNPD Officer who now lives in Florida, found himself in a Nashville Jail Tuesday morning after what was described as a “domestic disturbance” at Jonathan’s Grille which began late Monday night. Witnesses report observing Sledge smash his daughter’s phone on the ground twice after an altercation. Sledge admitted the phone was initially in his daughter’s hand, and he pushed the phone, but would not elaborate more than that. Ryan Sledge was booked and released in just over 2 hours, posting a $1,000 cash bond.

21-year-old Ryan Timmerman, from Florida, is charged with the domestic assault of his girlfriend, Sara Weiss, after hotel staff called police after hearing him yell on the 2nd floor of the hotel and observed him grabbing and pushing his girlfriend, who explained he was “extremely intoxicated” and they got into an argument in the hallway. Timmerman is free on a $1,000 bond.

During his search for it, he reportedly was pushing and shoving patrons, and when security intervened he resisted and fought with them, causing them to strike him in the face. Police were called, he continued to be belligerent and causing a scene, so he was taken into custody, charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He is free on pre-trial release.
