31-year-old tourist Justin Bolla faces a Class C felony vandalism charge after police say he was walking in downtown Nashville when he suddenly punched a hole through the front storefront window of Betty’s Boots on Broadway. Police reviewed security footage and charged the Massachusetts tourist with felony vandalism after the custom window was estimated at $12,000 to repair. His friend with him, Kevin Gately, was additionally charged with public intoxication.
24-year-old Bryce Parker was celebrating his birthday with friends on Music Row when it was reported he was getting into vehicles of people he didn’t know. After Metro Nashville Police arrived to investigate the call, they noticed the 24-year-old had climbed into their own patrol car, which was parked with the emergency equipment activated. Unable to locate the friends he was celebrating with, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Police say 23-year-old musician Bitty James Ladd admitted during an interview to punching his friend, Jeffrey Webb, after a night of drinking in downtown Nashville. The assault resulted in two disfigured teeth, pain, and over $10,000 in medical costs. Ladd is charged with felony aggravated assault resulting in serious injury, and is free on a $2,500 bond.
Police say a friend of 24-year old Blake West Bevans called them to say their friend was extremely intoxicated and should be checked on, giving them his location on Blakemore Ave. Police say he was walking into traffic and resisted arrest, and refused medical treatment, so they were left with no choice but to book him into jail for public intoxication.
31-year-old Alexander Walter was arrested and charged with public intoxication after calling the police when a friend locked him out of an apartment after an argument over cocaine.
A man was on his way to pick up his girlfriend from Vanderbilt hospital when his car broke down. He called his friend, 31-year-old Joshua Raines Thompson, to come assist. Thompson drove him to Vanderbilt, picked up the girlfriend, and on the way robbed them at gunpoint, and left them at the Joelton McDonald’s.
