Tourist bites Nashville Police Officer & Medic — Jessica Russell free on Pre-Trial Release

33-year-old Jessica Rose Russell was found in downtown Nashville extremely intoxicated, unable to care for herself, and believing she was in Illinois. Medics were in the process of assisting her when she became combative, and officers arrived to assist. As they were attempting to get her onto the gurney, she attempted to free herself from the soft restraints they had placed on her and became more aggressive. She lunged at medics several times and eventually bit medic Alexander Martin, but did not break the skin. Then she latched her mouth onto Officer Timothy Lehnert, breaking the skiing and drawing blood. Both Russell and Officer Lehnert were treated at the hospital. Russell is now free on pre-trial release.

Man says he used cocaine & opioids prior to crash — Mitchell Baxter

32-year-old Michell Baxter told paramedics he used cocaine and opioids prior to a crash on December 23rd. Baxter was initially found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of his crashed truck, unresponsive with fixed pinpoint pupils and a slight pulse. Narcan was administered and he eventually became responsive as he was being transferred onto the gurney. He stated he remembered nothing about the wreck, and refused to answer any questions after being read his rights. Baxter was charged with DUI 2nd and violation of the implied consent law. Baxter also received a citation charging him with DUI 2nd in October, for which he has not yet been to court. He remains jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.

Tourist charged with punching boyfriend in face after night of Broadway binging — Sarisa Orphal

27-year-old Sarisa Orphal, a tourist from Fort Wayne, Indiana, is charged with domestic assault in Nashville after her boyfriend told police the couple had been out drinking on Broadway late Saturday night and returned to their room at the Cambria Hotel and began to argue. When Daniel Goff attempted to leave the hotel room she reportedly snatched the hat off his head and punched him in the face three times, leaving two bloody cuts on his face, according to Metro Nashville Police who documented the injuries. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail and is now free on a $1,000 cash bond.

52-year-old Jeffrey Kaply told Nashville Police his name was “Captain Morgan” after being found heavily intoxicated on the 6th floor of the Moxy Hotel in downtown Nashville. Just prior to their arrival, he was seen by hotel staff with his pants down in the corner of the ironing room while urinating on the floor. He admitted to having “a lot” to drink. #VisitMusicCity

Tourist punches boyfriend, bloodies his lip, during fight over “old guy” kissing her hand

24-year-old Juliette Camacho was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury after her boyfriend says she punched him, bloodying his lip, after the pair got into an argument over an “old guy” kissing her hand earlier in the evening.

35-year-old Nicole Hisle was charged with aggravated assault when she punched her husband in the nose, slapped him, then grabbed a knife and threatened him saying “I’m going to tell police you hit me and n***** you are going to jail”.

Indiana fugitive found with “cocaine” after giving police permission to search him

28-year-old Joshua Cloy was charged as a fugitive from justice when police received a report from MTS security in regards to an unauthorized weapon that led to him being found with marijuana, cocaine, and counterfeit cocaine individually wrapped for resale. He was wanted in Indiana on a weapons law charge.

Teen duo charged with felony burglary of Gatorade from Titan’s locker room

19-year-olds Seth Pickering, of Indiana, and Joshua Meek, of Michigan, are charged with felony burglary after police say they jumped a fence and made their way into the Titan’s Nissan Stadium, made their way down the tunnel into the player’s locker room, and took a 20 bottle of Gatorade from a cooler.

Police say 30-year-old Andrew Scott, better known in the South as drag performer ‘Bianca Santana Knight’ was charged with felony domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after screaming “I’ll show you drunk!” then grabbing a mirror from a wall and assaulting his roommate with it.
