18-year-old Kaden Shepherd was booked into the Metro Nasvhille Jail after his father, Shawn Shepherd, called police to report his son had “attacked him after telling him to keep the noise down”. Kaden had already fled the scene when officers arrived but his father explained he was trying to sleep and his son was on Zoom with several other teams and was being so loud that he could hear him in the other room. When he told him to keep it down, Kaden reportedly told him it was none of his business before eventually kicking his father in the shin several times.

Woman stands up from toilet, punches husband in face, breaks glasses, per report — Tammy Sullivan

52-year-old Tammy Sullivan is charged with domestic assault after her husband, Kevin Sullivan, says she “stood up from the toilet and punched him in the eye”, breaking his glasses. The couple was reportedly in an argument and Tammy wanted to leave with some friends after she had been drinking and Kevin attempted to take her phone when the assault occurred.

Man spends birthday in jail after assaulting his mother in Madison — Vanell Coble

Vanell Coble spent his 26th birthday in the Metro Nashville Jail this week, as he was arrested two days prior after his mother says he knocked on her door and once she opened it, he grabbed her by the shirt and pushed her backward ten feet into the apartment, resulting in a scratch to her forehead.

Coble’s bond is set at $1,000, and there’s a hold on his release from Smyrna Police due to multiple outstanding probation and failure to appear warrants.

Employee leaves gun in planter outside Nissan stadium during Titans Game — Jaquilla Fitts

36-year-old Jaquilla Fitts says she left her gun in a planter outside the gates of Nissan Stadium while she went inside to work during the Titan’s game on January 2nd. Police were alerted to the presence of the gun, and after a short investigation traced it to the employee. When questioned, Fitts explained she had taken a shuttle to work and still had the gun on her, so she had nowhere else to store it, as she could not get through security with the firearm.

A records check showed the gun as reported stolen. She was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail, charged with theft of a firearm, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A commissioner set a $10,000 bond, however, she was free on pre-trial release.

Resident chases group home manager with samurai sword in argument over medication — Rogello Trevino

47-year-old Rogelio Trevino is charged with vandalism and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say he chased a group home manager out of the residence and around a vehicle several times while threatening him with a samurai sword. The chase ended when Trevino tired out of the chase.

The victim, Jeffery Starnes, told police the argument started after Trevino was not taking his medication properly and he confronted him about the issue. A door to the group home was damaged during the chase.

Mother charged with broom assault, upset daughter gave money to ‘some man she was seeing’ — Cordelia Faye Williams

67-year-old Cordelia Faye Williams is charged with the domestic assault of her daughter, Amanda Lou Fowler, after reportedly assaulting her daughter with a boom. Court records allege Willaims was upset that her daughter was giving away her money to “some man she has been seeing” and assaulted her with a broom while she was sweeping the hallway. Police documented injuries on the victim’s left hand and transported Williams to the Metro Nashville Jail, where she was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. She remains jailed in lieu of a $1,500 bond as of Christmas morning.

Man charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to leave Madison Best Buy — Jason Lind

37-year-old Jason Lawrence Lind was reportedly threatening customers and employees at the Madison Best Buy on November 30th when officers arrived and found him inside the store, refusing to leave. Despite attempts to calm Lind, and to find the reason for his displeasure, he remained upset and continued to attempt to return inside the store after management explained he was no longer welcome. Police say he continued to scream and curse, and he was eventually transported to booking, charged with disorderly conduct.

Man uses 12-inch weapon to slash another man he had over for “dinner & drinks” who he says ‘went crazy’ — Jorge Gutierrez Iglesias

52-year-old Jorge Gutierrez Iglesias invited Roberto Mendoza over for “dinner and drinks” Saturday evening, and at some point he says his dinner guest just “went crazy”, forcing him to slash at him with a 12-inch kitchen knife, leaving the victim with a deep gash in his right arm and swelling beneath his eye, and a cut on his wrist. Police say both parties were “heavily intoxicated” and neither would give a true explanation for what happened or any attempt to justify the assault. Iglesias is free on a $10,000 bond.

Woman charged with biting boyfriend’s hand while he was driving, police find him bloody & bruised — Quimeshia Heard

26-year-old Quimeshia Heard is charged with domestic assault after a citizen called police to report a couple was fighting inside a blue Hyundai Sonata which was traveling on a local roadway. Once officers located the vehicle and made a traffic stop, they found the victim driving the vehicle, identified as Kenneth Ferguson. He was bleeding and had visible injuries to his hands. Quimesha admitted they were arguing over “something stupid” when she punched him and then bit his hand while he was driving, causing a considerable injury. Heard is free on a $1,500 bond.

Teen charged after slicing Walmart employee with his own box cutter & assaults him with hammer— Tonisha Mitchell

19-year-old Tonisha Mitchell was booked on an outstanding warrant Tuesday, charging her with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury. Court documents reveal she was identified after she arrived at the Madison Police Precinct to retrieve property she lost during an altercation at Walmart. During that altercation, she and her boyfriend confronted a store employee they had ongoing issues with as he was clocking out. As her boyfriend began to assault the victim, identified as Tavarius Cameron, Tonisha reportedly swung a hammer at the victim, and when someone took the hammer from her she took the box cutter from the victim’s pants and sliced him with it. The victim suffered lacerations to his head requiring stitches. Tonisha Mitchell is jailed in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
