DUI: Jonathan Yancey jailed after falling asleep behind the wheel at intersection

25-year-old Jonathan Yancey was found asleep at the wheel of his vehicle while stopped in the middle of the roadway near Lebanon Pike and Donelson Pike just after 2 a.m. Saturday. NFD arrived and kept him warm in the back of the ambulance until police arrived. He admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the night, had slurred speech, and was visibly intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. He later clarified that he consumed one Bud Light Beer and one shot of Tequila prior to diving.

Intoxicated Woman found wandering in middle of Gallatin Pike — Cailin Daily arrested

An intoxicated 24-year-old Cailin Daily wandered into the middle of Gallatin Pike just before 1 AM Friday morning, telling police she had just left a friend’s house and was unable to locate her vehicle, which was parked ‘somewhere’ on Gallatin Pike. Due to her extreme level of intoxication and inability to provide an address or phone number of a friend to assist her, she was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

22-year-old Jordan Stine and 24-year-old Wyatt Matthews were charged with carjacking when they got into an accident with the victim, stole his vehicle, and punched him in the face before fleeing the scene in their original vehicle.

Police seize 85 pounds of marijuana from Nashville hotel room

Twaski Adams, 37, was staying in room 2069 of the Sheraton Music City Hotel when detectives executed a narcotics related search warrant on Friday that resulted in the seizure of approximately 85 pounds of marijuana.

Just before the State of the Union came on Tuesday night, MNPD served a narcotics related search warrant in East Nashville at 1239 ½ McGavock Pike. There were two adult occupants in the house – Jason Boles(43) and Shanna Conn(40), along with a 13 year old child. Boles is being held on a $37,500 bond & Conn is being held on a $3,500 bond, along with hold for another jurisdiction.
