Police charge Purdue College student Ian Rant with DUI in Nashville hotel parking lot

Metro Police responded to the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel Sunday afternoon when it was reported that two individuals were passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot. Behind the wheel of the Volkswagen was 19-year-old Ian Rant, who says he came down to Nashville from Purdue University for the weekend. He had checked out of the hotel but stated he was sleeping in the car because he was too impaired to drive. Rant stated he drank ten shots of vodka and ate some marijuana edibles around 10 p.m. the night before. Police found a marijuana pen on his person, a bottle of vodka in a backpack, along with packages of marijuana edibles. He is charged with DUI and is free on pre-trial release. Metro Nashville Police confirmed Monday that neither Rant, 19, nor anyone else, was cited or charged for any of the other items, edibles, marijuana, open vodka, or other paraphernalia in the vehicle.

27-year-old Teaira McBride was escorted out of Rebar at the Dam in the early hours of Friday morning after becoming belligerent to other patrons. Once outside, she discovered she had left her phone inside, and she began pounding on the doors attempting to re-gain entry. Once she calmed down the manager opened the door to assist her, at which time she attacked him, ripping his shirt and leaving a large mark across his chest. She then retreated to the parking lot of the Sleep Inn, where police found her lying on the ground yelling and screaming while hotel guests watched her. As they attempted to take her into custody she resisted, refused to put her hands behind her back, and grabbed onto a nearby fence.

Intoxicated man arrested after refusing to wear a mask on flight at Nashville Airport — Raymond Scherer

Police say 29-year-old Raymond Scherer was reportedly intoxicated and refusing to comply with flight attendants while boarding a plane at the Nashville Internation Airport. He refused to wear a mask and was creating a disturbance among other passengers. Once on the jetway, he was given every opportunity to calm down and walk away, however, he continued to be disruptive, eventually yelling “And this f****** b**** right here” as one of the gate agents walked by. He was charged with disorderly conduct and transported booking.

22-year-old Zachary John Allor, of Michigan, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail just before 1 a.m. Friday after police say he was under the influence of an unknown intoxicant in Printers Alley. They found him rolling around on the ground, covered in soot, and eventually went on a rampage, ripping an entire bumper and headlights from a nearby vehicle. #VisitMusicCity

Michigan fugitive booked for intoxication after fight at Greyhound station

31-year-old Corde Turner was charged with public intoxication at the Greyhound station after fighting with someone and becoming belligerent with authorities. He was found to be a fugitive from justice out of Michigan.

Teen duo charged with felony burglary of Gatorade from Titan’s locker room

19-year-olds Seth Pickering, of Indiana, and Joshua Meek, of Michigan, are charged with felony burglary after police say they jumped a fence and made their way into the Titan’s Nissan Stadium, made their way down the tunnel into the player’s locker room, and took a 20 bottle of Gatorade from a cooler.
