Mt. Juliet Restaurant owner charged in assault of girlfriend — Thomas Courtney arrested, yet again.

The 52-year-old troubled alcoholic Mt. Juliet restaurant owner, Thomas P. Courtney, has been booked into jail yet again and released on his own recognizance, this time after assaulting his girlfriend, leaving her badly bruised. Court records show the pair were driving on I-40 when he began swerving and driving erratically in response to an argument over a text message, and when she attempt to get the car back under control, he crashed the car off the road, pulled her out, and assaulted her by kicking her in the face, leaving her in the mud, locking the car, and walking away from the scene. A Wilson County magistrate released him on his own recognizance, as with most of his other dozen arrests. He was arrested again the following day for violating his Wilson County Probation, has multiple open DUI & other cases in both Wilson County and Nashville, and refuses to abide by interlock restrictions. His license to drive was revoked on 10/08/2021 – if you see him driving in Mt. Juliet, please immediately call the police at 615-754-2550.

Musician arrested after being too intoxicated for rock concert at Ascend Amphitheater — Scott Garbutt

60-year-old musician Scott Garbutt was denied entry to a concert in Nashville this weekend for being too intoxicated prior to the show. He became aggressive with the staff and was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and criminal trespass at Ascend Amphitheater. At some point during booking, his hairpiece also failed to appear. He is free on pre-trial release.

Josh Breslow removes WKRN TV branding, quietly becomes real estate agent for Parks Realty

Josh Breslow quietly removed the ‘WKRN’ branding from his social media URLs in July, just days after he became a real estate agent for Parks Realty in Mt. Juliet. Neither he nor the station has commented on if he will remain as their morning alert desk anchor. WKRN posted a job opening similar to Josh’s current alert desk position earlier this week.

Goodlettsville driver admits to downing five beers after being caught traveling 105 MPH

23-year-old Jacob Grava was charged with driving under the influence after driving a reported 105 miles per hour on Interstate 40. Grava would later confess to having consumed five beers before getting behind the wheel.

Lebanon man claims Sumner County Commissioner forced him to withdraw money from ATM; calls 911 & chases him

Lebanon Police say 21-year-old Travis Gaither called 911 and claimed Sumner County Commissioner & State Representative candidate Luke Tinsley forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM and give it to him. Gaither then chased the vehicle, providing updates to the dispatcher, asking police to meet him at Tinsley’s house. The investigation showed the money was a loan, and he didn’t think he had to pay it back. He was charged with misuse of 911 and possession of the marijuana in this glovebox. Gaither is Tinsley’s former campaign manager for his State Representative run.

Police say 33-year-old Brendan Negron, of Mt. Juliet, assaulted his wife with a barstool, and his fists, after she refused to leave his home. His wife works in a hospital as a P.A., and he was afraid his children would contract the Coronavirus from someone she had been in contact with.

Nashville Fire EMT, and former Buffalo Bill Linebacker, Jimmy Ray Robinson is free on bond this morning, after holding some white neighborhood youth at gunpoint and threating to ‘pop’ them, stating “this is how little kids get f—ing shot… this is the f—ing south, everybody’s got a fucking gun!”.

BREAKING: Hours after his court appearance Thursday, 18-year-old Matthew Casto was found back in the attic space of a 14-year-old girl’s bedroom, and had to be tasered while taken into custody. Mt.
