Jevaughn Small charged after attacking former roommate who he couldn’t finesse into his bedroom

Dofton Reynolds says his friend and former roommate, 29-year-old Jevaughn Small, won’t stop trying to finesse him into being gay for him. After four months of alleged sexual harassment, he’s now taken the matter to police after he says Small attempted to run over him with a vehicle for denying his advances. He says Small continually tried to persuade him to come into his bedroom when they lived together, and once he moved out Small has tracked his whereabouts.

On May 8th at 8:40 a.m., Small attempted to run him down, and when Reynolds jumped away from the vehicle’s path, he says Small jumped out and physically attacked him in a struggle that lasted for a few minutes and left Dofton with injuries to his ride side of his body, his leg, and his left arm and hand.

Man charged with DUI after leaving Play Dance Bar and crashing car — Bricen Bunt arrested

23-year-old Bricen Bunt told police he had just left Play Dance Bar, where he had drank a tequila shot, a Long Island Tea, and a vodka/Redbull, when he crashed his car into another vehicle on I-24 while driving to Murfreesboro in the early hours of Saturday morning. After performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Bunt blew a 0.134 % BAC on a breathalyzer. He is free on pre-trial release.

Teen charged in brutal attack of girlfriend when told relationship was over — Kanetray Westbrook #NotToday

19-year-old Kanetray Westbrook is charged with the domestic assault with bodily injury of her girlfriend, Mircale Williams, and was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday. From her hospital bed, Williams disclosed to police that she was breaking up with Kanetray when Kanetray pulled her from the passenger seat of her car and began punching her in the face repeatedly before pulling her onto the sidewalk where she smashed her head onto the pavement. Realizing how badly injured the victim was, she called the victim’s mother, telling her to call 911 because the victim was “fading in and out” and drove her to that location. Westbrook is free on a $2,500 bond.

Man, too drunk for Play Dance Bar, attempts to break out patrol car window after arrest

23-year-old Zachary J. Minton is charged with public intoxication, vandalism, and resisting arrest, after Metro Police say he was at Play Dance Bar when he vandalized a stranger’s car, pushing officers who were attempting to arrest him, and eventually attempted to kick the window out of the patrol car several times once inside.

Grand Jury indicts Canvas bartender Joey Newkirk on new felony charges

One year after the initial incident, the Davidson County Grand Jury has returned an indictment charging Joseph Newkirk with two counts of felony aggravated assault. He is accused of continuing to beat a local realtor, even after rendering him unconscious, and knocking a female friend unconscious, leaving her in the water at the lake.

Joey Newkirk, 39, arrested and charged with assault, after an incident that included the beating a local realtor after he was unconscious on the ground, and participating in the beating of a female friend, leaving her unconscious in the water. His brother, Nathaniel Clay Rice, who also participated in the above assaults, punched another friend/witness when he asked what happened, before the two casually walked away from the scene.

Just after we’re getting over another of Nashville’s gay socialites receiving 200 ecstasy pills this week, now we have the arrest of Jonathan Alexander Poe – who received 155 grams of methamphetamine in the mail. Jonathan Alexander Poe was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a CLASS B Felony – Possession with Intent of Meth (26-299 grams). According to a police affidavit, police were made aware of a suspicious package at a postal facility. A search warrant was granted, and inside was 155 grams of methamphetamine.
