Kimberly Sullivan assaults boyfriend for not kissing her at midnight on New Year’s Eve

35-year-old Kimberly Erin Sullivan was involved in a domestic disturbance with her boyfriend, Robert Keith Bruno, at their apartment on Broadway early January 1st. Both parties were visibly intoxicated as they advised officers that they had been drinking before the incident. Bruno stated he and Sullivan argued but could not remember why. Then, he told them there was no physical altercation but that Sullivan threw a ketchup bottle at the wall. He had a self-inflicted wound on his pinky from punching the wall. Sullivan told officers that they argued regarding Bruno not kissing her at midnight. Sullivan also admitted that she threw the ketchup bottle and tried to slap him. Bruno grabbed Sullivan to restrain her after she attempted to hit him, initiating a physical struggle where she accidentally bumped her head. Sullivan was adamant that the bruise was accidental, that Bruno did not intentionally harm her, and that she initiated the scuffle. Bruno did not wish to prosecute. Sullivan was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
