Metro Police Officer Kris Delap shot Pasquala Walls as he drove away from him.. both of them barely missing pedestrians on Broadway in their actions.

What would have happened if the shot actually killed him while he was driving that vehicle and it continued toward pedestrians even more out of control?

MNPD Officers Shoot & Kill Man at Overlook Ridge Apartments in North Nashville

In what would become the 3rd officer involved shooting in 19 months, MNPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at 2400 Buena Vista Pike, the Overlook Ridge Apartments just after 10:30 PM Friday night. During the incident, a MNPD officer was shot in the thigh and ankle. Two other officers returned fire, killing the suspect. Roads and part of the interstate were shut down to traffic along the the route while an ambulance transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment.

MNPD Officer Delke, who shot Dan Hambrick multiple times after a foot chase on Thursday, resulting in his death, had mistook a man with dice for a man with a gun, less than 24-hours earlier, during another foot chase.
