On March 29th, Metro Nashville Police found D’Ante Leo Johnson leaning out of his car, covered in blood in North Nashville. His girlfriend, 23-year-old Deja Nicole McClain, admitted to stabbing him in the head with a large knife after he broke up with her. She also stole his social security card “so he would have to come back”. She is free on a $10,000 bond.
77-year-old Bobbie Peoples is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after police say she pointed a gun at her husband of 54 years and demanded to know what he did with the painting of a dog she was currently working on. The husband called the police to report he was afraid she would shoot him.
23-year-old Haleigh Feri is charged with domestic assault after her boyfriend says she punched him in the nose four times while riding in an Uber after an argument, then fell out of the Uber when she tried to follow him out of the car to argue some more.
48-year-old Mojica Socorro Ortiz called Metro Nashville’s emergency dispatch center Sunday afternoon to report he caught his wife cheating with another man, slapped her, and wanted to go to jail. He waited for police at the end of his driveway, where he was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
36-year-old Bairon Ayala was is charged with domestic assault he reportedly woke his sleeping girlfriend up to go buy him some beer, she refused, and he punched her in the face and threw her up against a wall.
28-year-old Darian Morris faces a variety of charges, including vandalism and domestic assault, after police say her boyfriend, Ryan Noble, 33, called to report his girlfriend was chasing him around a parking lot and had scratched his face. She later lunged at an officer with her mouth open, attempting to bite him.
30-year-old Sara E. Smith is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after her boyfriend came to spend the night after turkey hunting, and she attacked him first with her hands, then with a steak knife, after accusing him of cheating.
Metro Police say 27-year-old Samantha Cox Ward climbed on top of her husband and repeatedly punched him in the face after he woke her up to feed their twins. He then retreated to the bathroom until police arrived at their Antioch home.
33-year-old Jenni Terry is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment after police say she smashed a wine bottle into her boyfriend’s face, pulled him back into the house when he tried to flee, tossed him onto the ground, and then threw what was left of the wine bottle at him as he eventually escaped.
24-year-old Kristan Parris is free on a $500 bond, after her boyfriend, Taylor Hayes, called Metro Police when she got rough with him during sex. He presented to police with two bite marks and several scratches to his back.
