East Nashville men booked for crack and a carjacking in Mt. Juliet

55-year-old Kevin Hudson was charged with possession of crack cocaine, theft of property, and possession of drug paraphernalia after he stole a vehicle in Ashland City and was found three days later at Walmart in Mt. Juliet. 34-year-old Joseph Ferrell, who was found driving said vehicle, was charged with theft of property, simple possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.

28-year-old Kevin Machon was charged with DUI and resisting arrest and 32-year-old Mikha Piper was charged with public intoxication when they got into an argument on the way to booking and the man got angry when officers assisted his girlfriend out of the cruiser. She had also peed in front of them.

Lebanon man claims Sumner County Commissioner forced him to withdraw money from ATM; calls 911 & chases him

Lebanon Police say 21-year-old Travis Gaither called 911 and claimed Sumner County Commissioner & State Representative candidate Luke Tinsley forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM and give it to him. Gaither then chased the vehicle, providing updates to the dispatcher, asking police to meet him at Tinsley’s house. The investigation showed the money was a loan, and he didn’t think he had to pay it back. He was charged with misuse of 911 and possession of the marijuana in this glovebox. Gaither is Tinsley’s former campaign manager for his State Representative run.

Police say 33-year-old Brendan Negron, of Mt. Juliet, assaulted his wife with a barstool, and his fists, after she refused to leave his home. His wife works in a hospital as a P.A., and he was afraid his children would contract the Coronavirus from someone she had been in contact with.
