20-year-old Keleshia Massey was charged with assault of an officer, domestic assault, vandalism, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after wrestling with her ex-boyfriend and stabbing his current girlfriend.
45-year-old Ricky Buford was charged with attempted criminal homicide after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s current boyfriend, Willie Alred, multiple times in the arm, head, and lung.
24-year-old Destiny Gurley was charged with assault, resisting, evading arrest, vandalism, and burglary after a woman said she beat her, tied her up, drove her across town, and stabbed her when she tried to escape.
32-year-old Kelcey Jamar Walker was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he stabbed his girlfriend in front of her children and then fled the scene.
50-year-old Angela Cartwright was charged with aggravated assault after she stabbed her boyfriend for no apparent reason while they were drinking in a shed. Her boyfriend told police that she is bipolar.
40-year-old Melissa Smith was charged with aggravated assault involving serious bodily injury when a lovers spat at a Madison bodega escalated to the point where she stabbed her boyfriend in the chest.
53-year-old Joyce Bean was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an argument ensued between her and her boyfriend during which she told him “get out of my house and I want my teeth back.” She then began attacking him and ended up stabbing him multiple times but not before her daughter was able to jump in and get some licks in of her own.
In yet another extreme case of domestic violence this week, Maria Flor Salvador, 41, was stabbed this morning at her Wildgrove Drive residence. She is in critical condition at VUMC. Detectives have been unable to interview her due to the severity of her injuries. Her husband, Eric Lopez, 53, is believed to be responsible and is also hospitalized as a result of self-inflicted stab wounds to his abdomen.
Arielle Pye, 25, was taken into custody on multiple charges Sunday, after police say she admitted to attempting to stab her boyfriend twice, and told police ‘i want him dead’. He called 911 when she refused to leave the home after an argument.
Shaquise Leggs, 25, approached the victim with a large knife, exclaimed “I’ll kill you, Motherfucker!” and began stabbing him in the back, after his ‘other girlfriend’ called his phone as Leggs was taking him back to her residence, after a night at the club.
