Artavia Henderson booked after stealing $900 from Walmart in 2021

28-year-old Artavia Henderson was booked on the citation of theft on February 13th, 2024. In June 2021, officers responded to the Walmart on Nolensville Pike and spoke with Kyle Kloes, a loss prevention officer. Kloes advised officers that Henderson, an employee at the time, had been stealing from the store. Kloes stated that Loss Prevention located two suspicious transactions from her employee ID and reviewed footage from June 19th, 2021, and June 21st, 2021, showing her loading $400 and then $500 onto pre-paid Visa cards without depositing cash into the register. When Kloes spoke with Henderson, Henderson admitted to the thefts. Henderson was booked on the citation of theft on February 13th.

Man found intoxicated on stranger’s Antioch front porch — Nicholas Woolridge

Police responded to a report of a man passed out on the front porch of an Antioch home on March 30th, and found 32-year-old Nicholas Woolridge seated on the porch when they arrived. He told officers he had only stopped to rest and attempted to walk away, however, he appeared to be very intoxicated and sat down in the middle of the roadway. Unable to care for himself, and unsure where he was coming from or going to, he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Man assaults wife, threatens to blame disarray on her, have cops take away kids, if she calls 911 — Jamil Sameen

Metro Police say 50-year-old Jamil Sameen picked up a kitchen chair and struck his wife in the back with it, knocking her down, and then began to strangle her when attempted to call 911. He reportedly then took cellphone video of the disarray of the home from the multiple assaults, and told her if she told the police he would show them the video and blame her and have the children taken away. He is charged with two felony accounts of aggravated assault (deadly weapon & strangulation), and immediately posted a $30,000 bond. Samil is an employee of the Metro Nashville Government, as a Program Supervisor with the Nashville Public Library.

DUI: Woman “exhausted from work” took cocaine “that might have been meth” & “a lot of weed”

27-year-old Megan Hoover is charged with DUI after she crashed at I-24 & Haywood Lane Sunday. She told officers she was exhausted from work, and had smoked “a lot of weed”, taken suboxone earlier that morning, and had done what she initially believed to be cocaine, but now believes it was methamphetamine. Before falling asleep during transport she was talking to someone who wasn’t there.

Man pulls gun on his ex-girlfriend and her father, says he’s going to “shoot everyone”

23-year-old Deonte Foster was charged with three counts of aggravated assault after he pointed a gun at his ex-girlfriend, her father, and her father’s friend while saying he was going to “shoot everyone”.
