Nashville Police save 2 women from intoxicated ‘fake’ Uber driver mid-trip

Metro Nashville Police saved two women from a potentially dangerous situation last week, as they were in a vehicle they believed to be their Uber. The stranger driving them, Milian Tesfay, had picked them up on West End and had driven them out of the way of their destination, and was no Uber driver at all.

Uber driver charged for transporting man selling Heroin & Fentanyl, agents exposed during arrest

MNPD, Lebanon PD, and the WCSO all worked together to take down 30-year-old heroin distributor Isaiah Richard Gates Tuesday, and his uber driver, Tariku Bulit, after a long-term investigation. During the arrest, Gates ripped open a large bag of powder heroin in an attempt to destroy the evidence, and several officers were exposed to the the heroin.

John Watkins, a widely known home inspector in Nashville, and owner of Nashville Home Inspection, found himself in a jail cell on Thursday, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – because his Uber driver wouldn’t let him ride with his coffee.
