Elijah Mann charged in targeted assault of Walmart employee Shambria Batey

18-year-old Elijah Mann was booked this week on an outstanding assault warrant from August. Police say Elijah Mann and Robbyn Black entered the Dickerson Pike Walmart on August 16 and located employee Shambria Batey, who was stocking shelves. Store security video shows the two punch and kick the victim and pull her around by her hair. A video of the assault was also posted on the Instagram account of ‘MyaaDaPlug’ and saved for detectives before it was removed. The victim only knew the first names of her assailants, but a teacher at W.A. Bass school was able to positively identify them, as did the victim later in a photo line-up.

Joshua Connor charged with felony burglary over $12 in beer from Walmart

39-year-old Joshua Connor is now charged with felony burglary after concealing a 12-pack of beer valued at $12.00 in his backpack at the Antioch Walmart in an effort to steal it, according to police. Loss prevention detained Connor and retrieved the merchandise. Due to him previously being trespassed from the location, Metro Nashville Police charged him with felony burglary.

Rebecca Huffines charged in self-checkout theft at Walmart

47-year-old Rebecca Huffines is charged with theft after police say she walked into the Dickerson Pike Walmart, selected multiple items during a trip throughout the store, and failed to scan all of them at the self-checkout registers. According to Walmart’s loss prevention department, Huffines would scan one item while placing multiple unscanned items in a bag with it. Walmart reports the total amount she under-scanned as $119.95. She was stopped as she exited, and all items were recovered.

Kam Elder smashes boss’s car with shopping cart after he’s fired from Walmart

Police say 19-year-old Kameron Elder picked up a shopping cart and threw it onto the windshield, fender, and hood of his Walmart manager’s vehicle after she terminated his employment. Christina Korous says after she fired Elder for performance-related issues, he was observed on security cameras approaching her Honda Civic in the parking lot. He pushed a shopping cart toward the car, picked up the cart, and used it to smash the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $5,000.

De’Jone Johnson charged in Walmart Burglary of $1,187 in merchandise

Police say 29-year-old De’Jone La’Mar Johnson walked into the Walmart on Dickerson Pike, selected $1,187.40 worth of merchandise, and attempted to walk out of the store without paying. He was stopped at the doors by loss prevention, who noted that Johnson was previously trespassed from Walmart in March, which now made this a burglary.

Tara Hensley charged with felony burglary in $5 Walmart theft — receives matching $5 bond from a magistrate

31-year-old Tara Hensley walked into the Walmart on Dickerson Pike on September 2nd and chose an item valued at $5.00 and removed it from the shelf. She then walked out the door without paying for the item and fled the scene. She was identified by loss prevention and Metro Nashville Police. She is charged with misdemeanor theft and felony burglary due to a supposed prior shoplifting incident for which she was reportedly trespassed from Walmart. Her bond was set at $5 on the felony burglar charge, and she was ROR’d on the theft version of the charge.

Asrorkhon Sultankanov charged after spitting on teen in Walmart parking lot rage incident

A 16-year-old Walmart employee says 41-year-old Asrorkhon Sultankanov punched his vehicle and spat on him twice in the Walmart parking lot after he nearly collided with the teen’s vehicle as he barrelled through the parking lot. As the supposed adult nearly caused the collision as the teen was backing out of a parking spot, Sultankanov then exited his vehicle to confront the teen, who says the man then spat on him twice and punched his car in a fit of rage. The incident was observed on the store’s security cameras.

Nashville woman charged with felony burglary for pushing out $110 from Walmart

23-year-old Thomesha Pointer now faces a felony burglary charge after Metro Nashville Police responded to the Dickerson Pike Walmart on June 7th, where loss prevention had observed Pointer put $110.97 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart and push it past all points of sale without paying for it. Loss prevention provided MNPD with a trespass notice, which Pointer had signed on March 18th, for all Walmart properties, which elevated the charge from petty theft to felony burglary.

Los Angeles man deemed too drunk for downtown Nashville — Michael Anderer arrested

48-year-old Michael Anderer was jailed in Nashville early Saturday morning after being kicked out of the Nashville Underground on Broadway in downtown Nashville. Venue security says he caused a disturbance inside and refused to leave the property. Metro Nashville police arrived on scene and took him into custody due to his extreme level of intoxication and inability to care for himself.

Mary Anne Watts charged with theft of Walmart merchandise worth $177

Police say 44-year-old Mary Anne Watts walked into a Nashville Walmart with Jerome Shanklin, bagged up multiple items of merchandise, and walked out the door without paying for them. the total value of the unpaid items was $177. Watts was booked this week on the warrant, while Shanklin has not been booked on the charge.
