Songwriter & falconer Holly Lamar faces 30 charges after TWRA raids her Wing Blade Falconry

56-year-old Grammy nominee Mary Holladay “Holly” Lamar was booked this week on 30 wildlife-related charges after agents from the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA), stemming from a search conducted in August of this year, during which 13 birds of prey were seized from her falconry, Wing Blade Falconry, in Whites Creek. In 2018, Lamar was charged and convicted in England for owning unregistered falcons and for having a dead falcon in her freezer, which was “half-eaten with its leg cut off.” She is banned from owning falcons or birds of prey in the UK.

Devordrick Prewitt charged in McDonald’s drive-thru disturbance

31-year-old Devordrick Prewitt was standing outside his vehicle in the drive-thru lane of a Mcdonald’s when police arrived Sunday. He was yelling at an employee through the window and banging on the glass. He refused to leave and spit on the window in anger. He refused to stop or leave the property and was taken into custody by police.

Woman calls 911 to report a robbery that never happened — Kaylyn McCracken arrested

34-year-old Kaylyn McCracken called 911 and reported she was currently being robbed and thrown out of her house by two men and three women. A full police response to the strong-arm robbery-in-progress was immediately initiated to intercept the five assailants and rescue the woman. As police arrived on the scene, it became immediately apparent there was no robbery happening. In fact, McCracken was a visitor to the residence and was upset over an argument about coffee. She had actually attacked the two women and one man, who were the only other people at the residence. She now faces a felony charge of filing a false report.

Teen charged with assaulting father with dinner plate — Justin Craig arrested

18-year-old Justin Craig was jailed Monday after admitting to throwing a dinner plate at the side of his father’s head during an argument. Andrew Craig complained of pain from the assault and told police his son became angry after the two were in a verbal argument.

Man tackles woman to the ground, demanding her child get vaccinated — Thomas Conley arrested

21-year-old Thomas Conley is charged with domestic assault after police say he tackled 19-year-old Bree Shaffer to the ground during an argument over her child getting vaccinated. He reportedly stated “If you’re not going to take (the child) to get the vaccine, I’ll do it myself” and picked up the child. Since isn’t the child’s biological father, she told him she would call the police, and which point he reportedly told her she wasn’t going to call anybody, and eventually tossed her phone off a balcony, preventing her from calling 911. He is free on a $3,500 bond.

Whites Creek Man assaults woman who served him breakfast, lunch, & dinner in bed, per report: Chad Walkup

42-year-old Chad Alan Walkup was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Wednesday on two open assault warrants against his girlfriend, Kathryn Kniery. One alleges he was served breakfast, lunch, and dinner in bed, then assaulted her around 8 p.m. when he overslept for work. Another, which was captured on video, shows him picking up a patio chair she’s sitting in and tossed threw her across the patio, after he was upset he couldn’t find the charger to his computer.

27-year-year old Kennetha ‘Michelle’ Blaylock is free on a $30,000 bond after police say she followed a shoplifting couple out of the Whites Creek convenience store she was working at, firing three shots into the wheel wells of the vehicle after both occupants were inside it.

62-year-old Mark Reeves was charged with domestic assault after he threw his wife into a metal animal cage and onto the ground shortly thereafter causing her to require medical attention for her injuries, per report.
