27-year-old U.S. Army Soldier Jose Arellano was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Saturday night after police say he was involved in a brawl with multiple other individuals, including other soldiers, near 2nd Ave & Broadway in downtown Nashville. Court records show he told officers he was upset that one of the other brawlers had “called him a p**sy” after which he became confrontational and attempted to provoke another fight and had to be held/pulled back by officers and other individuals. He continued to be combative and was eventually taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. Arellano is free on pre-trial release.
21-year-old Ft. Campbell soldier Jamie Burton was charged with public intoxication in Nashville after he started a fight with another subject and then became aggressive with Metro Police as they interveined.
