68-year-old Max Ahn was charged with reckless endangerment after he chased a man into a random woman’s car on Nolensville Pike and then shot his gun.

On August 11th, Kelley Stacey had an unexpected passenger on her way to work when a male, only referred to as “Victim 2” in the affidavit, ran into Mrs. Stacey’s car while she was turning at the intersection of Nolensville Pk and Wallace Rd. Stacey says that as soon as the stranger was in her car, she heard a gunshot.

The permitless Max Ahn claims that he did in fact grab his gun from his vehicle, but only shot into the air in an attempt to get the unnamed man to stay until authorities arrived. Ahn continued his claim, saying he was chasing the unidentified man because he had physically assaulted him on a prior occasion and he feared for his life. When asked if she was afraid, Mrs. Stacey gave the frank remark, “Hell yeah I was scared!” The man who jumped into Mrs. Stacey’s vehicle left after they arrived at Southern Hills Medical Center, and was never identified.

Max Ahn was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment. His bond was set at $3,500.
