35-year-old Christopher Greer was charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and possession of marijuana after he was observed puking in a parking garage stairwell and later tripped exposing a concealed firearm to officers.
On April 3rd, dispatch received a call about an individual who was attempting to enter a vehicle and had already regurgitated in a stairwell at the parking garage located at 126 4th Avenue South. When officers arrived Christopher Greer was with medics and noticeably impaired.
After refusing medical treatment, officers were escorting him to his vehicle that may have been ransacked, when he tripped exposing a handgun small of back holstered. Authorities confiscated his firearm and a search of the bag he was carrying produced 14.1 grams of cannabis and rolling papers. According to the affidavit, Greer was taken into custody because his level of intoxication and firearm made him a danger to himself and others.
Christopher Greer was arrested and charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and possession of marijuana. He was later freed on pre-trial release.
