24-year-old Scodashia Newsom was charged with assault after she reportedly pulled the father of her children out of her car and punched him in the face while he was kissing their kids goodbye.
On November 13th, Metro Nashville Police officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at the Skyline Village Apartments on 3225 Creekwood Drive. When officers arrived, they made contact with Lemarkius Ross, who had minor injuries to his face and right elbow.
Ross stated a physical altercation occurred during a custody exchange between him and Scodashia Newsom. He was kissing his kids goodbye when Scodashia became angry and pulled him out of her vehicle. Ross added that she punched him in the face during the altercation.
Scodashia Newsom was arrested and charged with domestic assault. She was later released on a $2,000 bond.
