27-year-old Cayman Gainey had an altercation with Cihan Basak, a Lyft Driver, on January 28th. On February 12th, Basak completed a police report, stating that he picked Gainey and another female up for a Lyft ride. When they arrived at their destination, an argument ensued between Basak and Gainey. Basak stated during the argument Gainey punched him in the mouth, causing an injury to the inside of his upper lip before exiting the vehicle. Basak provided officers with dash cam footage of the incident. Gainey was taken into custody for assault on February 23rd.
Cayman Shaye Gainey of 54th Ave N in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 23rd, charged with assault. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
