38-year-old David Lee Torres had a domestic altercation with his wife, Catrina Ramos, and her mother, Elida Ramos, at their shared Westchester Drive residence on the morning of February 8th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Catrina, who told them that Torres was intoxicated and began to break things inside the house. Catrina said that she went into the living room to lie on the couch, but Torres followed her and flipped the couch over while she was on it. Then, Torres called a friend and started talking about her, so she took his phone. This caused Torres to get angry and push her onto the ground. Catrina’s mother tried to intervene, but Torres pushed her too, placing her in fear of bodily injury. Catrina then tried to get back up, but he pushed her down again, causing an abrasion on her left knee. Torres was taken into custody for two counts of domestic assault.
