Jeffrey Musick crashes his car, walks home like nothing happened

29-year-old Jeffrey Tyler Musick had a single-vehicle accident in his Jeep Gladiator near Stewarts Ferry Pike and the I-40 West Entrance on the night of February 22nd. When officers arrived, they noticed the Jeep on the center median divider with damage to the front windshield and the driver’s side airbags deployed. Officers ran the registration and found that the owner, Musick, lived about five minutes from the scene on Boulder Park Drive, so they went to his residence. Officers met with Musick, who answered the door, officers immediately noticed Musick had visible injuries to his forehead consistent with him hitting it on the windshield in the Jeep. Musick also had chest injuries consistent with car airbags deploying. Musick told officers that he had gone to the bar earlier that evening, where he had a few beers, and then walked home after leaving the scene. However, Musick denied that he had driven from the establishment. Musick declined medical treatment, was detained, and then cited for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident. Musick failed to book himself on the citations, so a bench warrant was issued, which he was taken into custody for on March 14
