24-year-old Freddrick Woodard was charged with evading arrest when officers tried serving him a warrant for burglary — while he was in the bathroom — and he proceeded to climb through the attic where he broke through the roof June 1, 2020.

Officers were serving Woodard with a warrant for a February 17, 2020 burglary while he was using the bathroom. He told officers to hold on while he finished, and then he’d come talk to them. He told cops he was coming out. But when he opened the door, he told them he wasn’t coming out until they stepped back.

He slammed the door on them and tried climbing out a window. When that didn’t work, he climbed into the crawl space of the attic. After about 10 minutes of officers giving him orders over the loudspeaker, he broke through the roof and climbed on top. He ended up coming down off the roof where he was taken into police custody.

Freddrick Woodard was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and evading arrest. His bond was set at $15,000.
