28-year-old Fredrick Dillard was charged with aggravated assault after strangling his child’s mother during a fight.
On April 23rd, 2019, Metro Police arrived at 1221 Stockell Street in response to a domestic disturbance. On the scene, authorities spoke with April Kinnard who told them that she had a child with Fredrick Dillard. Kinnard said that the fight broke out when she told Dillard he needed to leave the house.
Dillard was said to have grabbed her throat and started to squeeze. Kinnard claimed he also pulled at her shirt with his left hand and scratched her chest. Dillard left shortly thereafter and police did note a scratch on Kinnard while talking to her.
On September 17th, Fredrick Dillard was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $3,500 bond.
