62-year-old Jeffery Arnell was charged with domestic assault after chucking a woman’s cereal bowl at the wall and scratching her at Southerland Quality Bedding.
On September 24th, Metro Nashville Police were dispatched to Southerland Quality Bedding located at 1973 Southerland Drive in response to a domestic disturbance. Authorities spoke with both Jeffery Arnell and Olma Saravia Diaz who had an argument earlier that morning.
The argument picked back up when Arnell saw Diaz eating cereal in the break room, and threw the cereal bowl against the wall. He was said to have then grabbed Diaz’s shoulders and scratched her. When asked to demonstrate how she was grabbed Diaz failed to reproduce the hold on officers that would have given her that scratch.
Jeffery Arnell was arrested and charged with domestic assault. His bond was set at $1,000.
