21-year-old Nevaeh Fields was jailed Friday morning when police responded to 18th Avenue for a suspected burglary. According to the complainant, Fields was attempting to force her way into the wrong apartment and had to be pushed away. When officers arrived on the scene, Fields was outside the apartment shouting, stumbling, and slurring as she spoke. Officers attempted countless times to assist Ms. Fields in finding the correct apartment, but she refused the help and was taken into custody.
Nevaeh Fields was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 17th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $250.
