DUI: Caleb Serrano speeds down I-40 after drinking 3 pints of lager, thanks officers for stopping him

33-year-old Caleb Antonio Serrano was seen speeding at 85 mph in a 65-mph zone on I-40 in the early hours of April 7th. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. Officers approached the passenger’s side and noticed Serrano reeked of alcohol. Officers had him exit his car for questioning, where he admitted to drinking “at least 3 pints of lager.” Then, Serrano took sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was detained. While being transported to booking, Serrano stated he did not even remember getting into his vehicle and then thanked the officers for stopping him. Serrano was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Caleb A Serrano of Brooksboro Terrace in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 7th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
