24-year-old Robert Gayters had an incident with Hanley Sobieszczyk, a nurse, at Summit Hospital on April 28th. When officers arrived, Sobieszczyk advised them that he had entered the room to treat Gayters, during which he became agitated and started fighting with several nurses. Then, Sobieszczyk told officers that Gayters slammed his head into the doorframe, splitting it open and causing him to have to get multiple stitches above his right eye. Gayters was then taken into custody for aggravated assault on a first responder on May 2nd.
Robert T Gayters of Nashboro Boulevard in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 2nd, charged with aggravated assault on a first responder. He is free on a $10,000 bond.
