Katelyn Inman was booked after driving with expired registration on I-40 East

29-year-old Katelyn Inman was observed by officers driving with an expired registration on June 17th, 2023. Inman was observed driving a 2017 Kia Forte without registration on I-40 East. Officers cited Inman for the incident that day. Inman was booked on the citation on April 6th.

YMCA Aquatics Director Jordana Vander Eyk booked after failing to appear in court for expired registration

24-year-old Bellevue Family YMCA Aquatics Director Jordana Louise Vander Eyk drove her Nissan Rogue with expired tags on Highway 100 near Collins Drive on May 3rd, 2023. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop officers discovered that Vander Eyk had a 30-day residency license issued to her in 2021. Then, officers cited Vander Eyk for the incident. She did not pay the fine or appear in court by June 23rd, 2023. So, a warrant was issued for Vander Eyk’s arrest. Vander Eyk was booked on the citations of expired registration and failing to update her address with the state from 2021-2024 on March 28th.

Franklin Attorney Dustin Ray Spain fails to appear in court after speeding in Tesla

42-year-old Dustin Ray Spain, owner of Grassland Financial Services, sped in his Tesla on Ashland City Highway near Old Hickory Boulevard early July 25th, 2023, according to police. Officers reportedly observed Spain traveling 68 mph in a 50 mph zone and conducted a traffic stop where they discovered his tags had been expired since May 2023. Spain was cited for speeding and having expired tags. Spain failed to appear for an October 2023 court date, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Dustin Spain was taken back into custody on March 7th.

Taiwo Ojo-Daniel speeds with someone else’s tags down I-40

22-year-old Taiwo Ojo-Daniel was speeding down I-40 East on June 8th. Officers noticed this and conducted a traffic stop. Ojo-Daniel could not provide proof of insurance; his registration had expired, and the tags did not belong to his car. He was cited for unlawful removal, financial responsibility law, expired registration, and speeding. Ojo-Daniel failed to appear in court and was taken into custody for the violations on December 8th.

Evelyn Araujo drives with expired tags, fails to appear in court

23-year-old Evelyn Miranda Araujo was driving on I-40 W with expired tags on July 16th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and cited her for the violation. Araujo failed to appear in court and was booked on a summons on December 2nd.

Shane Shown fails to show up for court over expired registration; bench warrant issued

31-year-old Shane Ramon Shown was driving on I-65 with expired tags on January 5th. Officers observed the tags, which expired in October 2022, conducted a traffic stop, and cited him for the violation. Shown failed to appear in court, and his bond was forfeited in May. A capias was issued from the bench for his arrest. Six months later, he was taken into custody and booked on November 29th.
