DUI: Kimberly Williams drinks 10 Deep Eddy Vodka Drinks before hitting multiple mailboxes

32-year-old Kimberly Williams had a single-vehicle accident in her Nissan Rogue on Eatons Creek Road on the afternoon of February 24th. Officers noticed the Nissan leaning against the guard rail with extensive damage and debris from two mailboxes in the roadway when they arrived. Officers ran the tags and discovered that Williams was the registered owner. Witnesses advised officers that Williams had swerved across the road “like a pinball,” hitting mailboxes and nearly flipping her Nissan into the ditch. Then, witnesses said Williams tried to drive out of the ditch but couldn’t due to being stuck on the rail. While being transported by NFD personnel, Williams admitted to drinking too much, then admitted this again when officers got there. Williams did not sustain any injuries, so she was discharged shortly after. Officers then asked Williams to take sobriety tests, which she consented to. Williams performed poorly, almost falling multiple times before being unable to complete the walk-and-turn test. Williams was detained and informed of implied consent, where she agreed to provide a breath sample that resulted in 0.240% BAC. A subsequent search led to them locating two Deep Eddy Vodka 50ml drinks in her purse, which she admitted to having ten of. Williams was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
