Would get in an Uber with someone that had plead guilty to an assault charge? how about an assault with physical contact? how about an assault w/threat of bodily injury? What if they had had plead guilty of drug possession, and three probation violations? Now let’s add on charges for 2 more drug possessions, 2 more harassment charges. a driving on a suspended license, speeding, and no insurance? let’s add a state citation for illegal gambling. Despite background checks, it appears this person drives for Uber as a rideshare driver. He actively posts in the Uber facebook groups about being a driver, and has a photo of his vehicle with the Uber trade dress visible. He also has an illegal ‘company’ where it appears he offers rides off the rideshare platform, and to top it all off, he is hiding from process servers with several default judgments, but we’l get to that later. First, let’s take a look at the criminal charges that driver Alan Lamb has – because he could be your next Uber driver! Lamb also delivers packages for Amazon Prime Now, in Nashville.

Subject was the driver of a vehicle found running in the parking lot at 1689 N Gallatin Pike, subject had a female on top of him who quickly jumped into the passenger seat upon contact. Subject stated he had left his driver’s license at home and had no identification with him but did provide his social number, name and date of birth. A check by said information located subject in ARMS, subject was found to have two outstanding warrants out of Sumner Cty and was taken into custody. A consent search of the vehicle located 1 yellow tablet and two blue tablets in the passenger seat identified as alprazolam in different dosage sizes, subject stated he had prescriptions for but had no paperwork or pill bottles with him. An additional pill bottle was located for Trazodone that had the identity portion of the label torn off, bottle contained 90 white tablets identified as Trazodone. Subject stated he found the bottle during a walk-through of a foreclosed home three days ago and had planned to turn the bottle in to authorities but had not done so to this point.

The defendant is my former boyfriend. Today, the defendant has continuously called and texted my cellular telephone. I have told the defendant to stop calling and texting me. The defendnat has continued to send threatening phone calls and text messages to me. He has made 50 to 100 calls in the last two days.

The defendant is a former boyfriend to my current girlfriend. Today, the defendant has has continuously called my telephone. I have told the defendant to stop calling me, however, he has continued to call my phone. He has called approximately 14 times in the last two days.
In addition to the criminal charges, he has outstanding civil warrants, also – process servers have been unable to locate him, and when they do, he hasn’t showed up in court, and received default judgments:
Civil Warrant from Capitol One – $3647.70 – Continues to dodge the process server
Civil Warrant from First Cash – $350.00 + cost, dodged process server.
Judgment from Capitol One – $1514.17
Finally, if you notice on his facebook page, he also advertises a ‘company’ he owns, called LampChop, Inc. While he did register the business with the county clerk – he did NOT register it with the state (The only Lambchop Registration is a music recording studio per the Secretary of State, either active or inactive). Not only is he adversing ‘off book’ ride, in violation of Uber policies, he is also in violation of several state and metro laws and licensing violations by operating a livery without a license or insurance.
