On Thursday, a homeowner on Elmore Ave found a naked & drunk man at his backdoor. That’s how he met James Pinkleton.
James Pinkleton says he was out celebrating his birthday with friends on Wednesday night. When they were done celebrating, and after much alcohol, according to what Pinkleton told police, his friends dropped him off at the Elmore Ave address. For an unknown reason, after arriving, he stripped off all of his clothes and began to knock on the back door of the house, awakening the homeowner.
The resident called police, as he did not know Pinkleton, and knew he had no legitimate to be in his backyard in the middle of the night. MNPD reports that Pinkleton had a strong odor of alcohol about him, blood shot & watery eyes, slurred speech, and an unsteady stance.
Pinkleton was arrested for public intoxication at 2:30AM and transported to jail.
