Late on Friday night (01/05/18), Bryan Woodard went to the Crazy Horse Nashville, a strip club, parked in the parking lot, got a handgun from the backseat of his vehicle, and began firing shots in the parking lot.

According to witnesses, Bryan Woodard then approached employees of Crazy Horse Nashville and said…

“I fired those shots, and I’ll kill you and rip your nose off your face”

Woodard then pointed the gun at the employees, removed the magazine to expose the loaded 9mm rounds to them. He then returned to his vehicle and placed the handgun in the backseat, where he had a 2nd firearm in a locked box in the front seat.

Once MNPD arrived on scene, and questioned Bryan Woodard about why he was firing a gun and making threats, he initially stated that his sister worked at the club, and he was trying to ‘defend’ her – but would not give police his name, or his sister’s name, and employees and management of Crazy Horse knew of no connection.

Once he was in custody and on the way to booking, Bryan Woodard admitted that he did not have a sister working at the club, but rather he stated:

“I don’t like THOSE places” & “I was just being and ass to start a fight”

MNPD searched his vehicle, incident to tow, as it was parked on a public street – and found 3.3 grams of cocaine, to which he admitted to possessing.  There was security video that recorded the incident.

Woodard was charged with possession for the cocaine, and felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for the incident. His bond was set at $20,000 and he bonded out to his Westmoreland, TN address via Grumpy’s. He will appear in court on 01/30/18.

THE DEFENDANT LATER VOLUNTARILY STATED WHILE EN ROUTE TO BOOKING THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE A SISTER AT THE CLUB BUT THAT HE DOES NOT LIKE “THOSE PLACES” AND WAS “BEING AN ASS TO START A FIGHT”.
