Irate passenger Brian Johnson charged with public intoxication at Nashville Airport

37-year-old Brian Wayne Johnson became upset at the Nashville International Airport on January 2 after he was denied boarding due to his level of intoxication. Airport police responded to the gate and attempted to assist him in getting rebooked at a later time. Johnson continued to be irate and was upsetting other passengers in the area. He then threw his backpack down an escalator in a fit of rage. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Tourist Weston Porter arrested in Nashville after being drunk & disorderly downtown

22-Weston Porter was outside of Kid Rock’s Bar in downtown Nashville late Friday night as he approached Metro Nashville Police officers working in the area and shoulder-checked them while telling them there was a fight in the area. He bumped into the elbows and shoulders of multiple officers while causing a disturbance among the general public in the area. The only person attempting to fight in the area was Porter. Officers advised him to move along and go home, but Porter refused and continued to be drunk and disorderly. As police explained he was being taken into custody for public intoxication, Porter pulled away and resisted arrest. Once in custody, Porter repeatedly asked why he was cuffed, if it was illegal to be drunk in Nashville on a Friday night, and stated that he had been drinking beer.

Metro Nashville Police Officers working the Entertainment District on Broadway in downtown Nashville observed 30-year-old Christopher Scott Mackenzie on the sidewalk extremely intoxicated and reeking of alcohol. He was unable to stand without losing his balance and had no one to take care of him. He was charged with public intoxication and transported to booking.

Donald Chris Hudson charged in brawl at JW Marriott in downtown Nashville

38-year-old Donald Chris Hudson was one of three men fighting with security and valet staff at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Nashville this weekend. Officers working the Entertainment District Initiative responded to the scene and viewed a video that showed the initial fight began with Hudson being approached by a person that was no longer present, and during the subsequent argument, Hudson quickly stood up and pushed the other man, causing a fight to break out. Due to this and his level of intoxication, Hudson was taken into custody and transported to booking.

Another tourist underestimates the power of Nashville alcohol — Isaac Kollock arrested

24-year-old Isaac Kollock was found passed out at the corner of 4th & Broadway in downtown Nashville early Friday morning. After he came to, medics attempted to transport him to the hospital for evaluation, however, he refused and attempted to stumble away, almost falling over. Police determined he was too intoxicated to be left on his own, and transported him to booking.

Arizona woman arrested for being drunk & disorderly at Garth Brooks concert in Nashville — Dorothy Weaver

Police assistance was requested for 30-year-old Dorothy Weaver, due to her level of disorderly behavior at the Garth Brooks concert at Nissan Stadium. When officers arrived she continued to be verbally abusive and belligerent to them, as she had been previously with security and patrons at the concert. She is charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

45-year-old Jeffrey Fiorillo was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail Friday night after he became “irate” at Rippy’s bar in downtown Nashville and refused to sign his bar tab, according to police, who arrived to find him still arguing with venue security.

He was determined to be extremely intoxicated and unsafe to be left on his own.

21-year-old Jeffrey Turner was taken into custody at the Tin Roof Broadway after police say he was not making sense due to believing he was living in the TV show “Sons of Anarchy”, and shattered a glass bottle on the wall when the bartender didn’t know how to make a cocktail from on the show.
