21-year-old Lucius Burch was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail early Saturday morning after police found him stumbling and falling over while wandering into traffic downtown. Burch comes from a long line of movers, shakers, and lawmakers in Nashville & Tennessee. His family includes the four well-known Lucius E. Burch’s before him, Nashville co-founder John Donelson, and President Andrew Jackson.
Metro Nashville Police observed Lucius E. Burch, 21, wandering into downtown traffic and falling over just after 1 a.m. Saturday. Police report he was unsteady on his feet, reeked of alcohol, and with slurred speech. Officers say he was alone and unable to care for himself.

Lucius Burch, 21, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail at 1:39 a.m. on 06/05/21, charged with public intoxication. After the required 8-hour hold, he was released at 10:33 a.m. with his charge dismissed.
