3.8 pounds marijuana & cash seized from South Nashville home

Martha Stamps, 57, Elijah Espinal, 19, and a 17-year-old are all charged with felony marijuana possession.

Acting on a tip about illegal drug sales, Midtown Hills Precinct undercover detectives today seized 3.8 pounds of marijuana during the execution of a search warrant at 511 Timmons Street.

Two residents Martha Stamps, 57, and a 17-year-old were each charged with felony marijuana possession.  Stamps was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  Elijah Espinal, 19, of Shawnee Drive, was also present and is charged with felony marijuana possession.

Seized from the 17-year-old’s bedroom were items consistent with marijuana sales including scales, baggies, and a shrink wrap device. Detectives also recovered $3,461 cash.
