27-year-old Tre Bell was charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call after he attacked Latoshia Brooks in front of her children while outside her residence.
On March 4th, Latoshia Brooks stated that Tre Bell came to her residence uninvited and demanded he was removing his son from her home. Latoshia reported that upon her refusal, Tre became physically and verbally aggressive. She then attempted to leave with her children in her car, but Tre followed and grabbed her left hand twisting her middle finger. During this time, Latoshia was attempting to call 911 but Tre continuously knocked her phone out of her hand.
Tre then slammed Latoshia into the driver’s side door of her car and threw her to the ground, according to the affidavit. A neighbor that witnessed the events stated that she came outside when she heard yelling. According to police, Latoshia had visible swelling to her left middle finger. Latoshia’s daughter was able to call 911 during the scuffle. Tre was found on the scene when officers arrived and taken into custody.
Tre Bell was arrested and charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call and his bond was set at $3,500.
